FLYING
FASCINATION 7/97
Flying is simply fascinating.This fascination lives
through pictures made from those magnificent machines
that enable people to fly. Shots out of the cockpit will
be a remembrance of great flights. (mouseclick to one of

MCR 01:
The single for two classes. The high-speed twoseater,
mainly built in carbon fiber, flies as ultralight as well
as VLA. Michel Colomban made the drawings, Christophe
Robin, son of the famous Pierre Robin, produces the
aircraft in Dijon Darois.
About
2000 beautiful veteran aircraft like this Erocoupe
visited this year the 40th Merced West Coast Antique
Aircraft Fly-in in California.
Final
glide for a furious finish in St. Auban the site of 25th
World Gliding Championships. After nine flying days there
were three new World Champions: Gérard Lherm (open
class, France), Werner Meuser (racing class, Germany),
Jean-Marc Caillard (standard class, France).

out of a TL-232 Condor on final for the runway of Karlovy
Vary in the eastern part of the Czech Republic. In the
neighbouring country to Germany ultralights are welcome.
